Supplies:

• decorative paper bags filled with treats

• assorted patterned papers

• ruler

• trimmer

• sheet of printable sentiments

• 1.5” scallop circle punch

• Xyron 5” Creative Station with Permanent Adhesive

• baker’s twine

• hole punch

 

Instructions:

1. Measure the width of the paper bag (example – 5”).

2. Determine how large you want the topper to be and multiply by two (example – 1.5” x 2 = 3”).

3. Use those measurements to cut your patterned paper (3” x 5” piece for each bag).

4. Fold the patterned paper in half horizontally (patterned side out) and unfold.

5. Run with the patterned side up through the Xyron 5” Creative Station. Peel off the clear film.

6. Fold over the lip of the paper bag.

7. Peel the patterned paper from the backing, line up the fold with the top of the bag, and fold over each side to adhere to the paper bag.

8. Punch out sentiments with circle punch.

9. Punch two holes in the bag topper and a hole in the top of the sentiment.

10. String the baker’s twine through the holes in the topper, thread through the hole in the sentiment, and tie the twine in a bow.
