Supplies:

  • trimmer

  • Xyron 5” Creative Station with permanent adhesive

  • Xyron Mega Runner

  • White card with oval cut out

  • piece of white cardstock

  • small piece brown cardstock, patterned paper, etc

  • several pieces of orange cardstock, patterned paper, ribbon, etc

  • scissors

  • green pen/marker

Instructions:

  1. Trim orange paper in to thin strips – no need to measure!  If using pieces of ribbon cut to approx. 4” each.

  2. Tear longer pieces of orange paper in half.

  3. Trim piece of white cardstock so it is larger than the oval but smaller than the front of the card.

  4. Run white cardstock through 5” Creative Station.

  5. Peel clear film from cardstock, then peel cardstock from backing and lay on work area with adhesive facing up.

  6. Beginning in the center of the cardstock, lay strips on top of adhesive, butting the strips up against each other at the top and bottom. Continue until card is mostly (but not completely) covered. Lay oval over cardstock to make sure there is no white space.

  7. Trim excess ends of strips from cardstock.

  8. Lay oval portion of card on top of cardstock and press to adhere. Fold card in half.

  9. Cut brown paper to shape of a stem. Adhere with Mega Runner.

  10. Use green marker to draw tendrils or leaves on the card.
